For the past few years, I have worked hand in hand with Michael Puffett to assist us with numerous services, including high level management training, motivational training for all staff, and sales training for our waitron staff.
My first engagement with Axiom Training and Consulting was on a project to establish what training was required, within our two businesses. The company brought along good expertise that involved spending one on one time with management and staff, to assess their knowledge. While this took place, they also had group sessions, motivating them for the actual training that was to take place. The feedback and results were phenomenal, compared to our previous training approaches. It is with these services that we have been able to transform our training model.

I had the privilege of being coached by Michael Puffet from Axiom Training in July 2020. What a life changing week it was.
Michael from the first moment of meeting myself and the rest of the Operations team had all of us at ease and comfortable to open up and experience the abundance of knowledge and life skills that he was about to share with us. I have been in many previous motivational seminars and if your coach/speaker is not able to get your mind opened up to taking in and wanting to absorb what he has to share it never bared any success.
Michael had a relaxed, casual manner of getting the introductions done and getting to know each of us in the operations team which he then used in a way that I felt was more personal and relating to our team and business than a person who addresses you in a mass seminar or session.
Our operations team has very large targets to achieve monthly and we were never getting the numbers as required. It was not that we weren’t working the hours or understanding what we had to do we just lacked in the key fundamentals as coached by Michael, understanding what kind of individuals we are and where our characteristics lay (Eagle, Lion, Ox and Man) these are all terms that before Michaels session we all assumed to just be animals and common terms.
The sessions were all fun yet very insightful creating a desire in each of my team members to absorb and take in as much as possible. We were free to express ourselves and as Michael told us all answers and opinions matter and we shouldn’t be afraid to raise our opinion or answer.
Michael taught us the basics of successful management of relationships which is key to any business and industry. Where there is no communication between yourself and your project stakeholders, where there is no compassion, there won’t be success ;and this is what was the biggest change Michael had brought to us as a team.
He equipped us with the key knowledge on how to handle difficult communications as we all know any business industry will have them; the importance of good and clear strategic planning, understanding our strengths and how each of our team members could use their individual strengths to the benefit of our team and common goals that we all shared.
Since the Axiom Training session I am super excited and proud to say that we have not only met our targets but exceeded them month after month and we have performed much higher than what was ever expected by our senior management team.
Our work environment has changed since the motivational session we all perform stronger as a team and are able to express ourselves and motivate each other better; as we learned where each of us fitted in the hierarchy (Lion,Ox,Eagle,Man).
I want to thank Michael for his amazing way of communicating with us allowing us to open up and what he has shared with us. I will definitely recommend him for any team or organisation that wants to exceed their wildest expectations who aren’t happy with just being successful but strive for bigger and higher goals and accomplishments.
